Walking meditation

Today’s meditation practice is a walking meditation, an exercise for your mind, body, and breath. Take 10-20 min to walk in nature (be it a concrete nature or deep in the woods, just find a peaceful and safe place). For this meditation all you need is yourself, and to enjoy the lightness and space you have created.

Keeping your eyes open and your body active, stay focused on each step and take in all of your surroundings. Notice the beauty of your surroundings and turn the corners of your mouth up.

When you get back home or back to your office have a glass of water and slowly transition back into your day-to-day activities. Avoid jumping into anything, trying to continue the ease and peace cultivated from the walking meditation.
