When I walked by this chalkboard (image above) I stopped in my tracks. The quote spoke to me. So often we are looking at success based on other peoples recognition or financial reimbursement for our efforts.
This quote reminded me that success and failure aren’t necessarily what we think they are. As the Bhagavad Gita says, no effort is ever wasted. If we are struggling is does not me we are failing.
Live Light Practice:
Set aside some quiet time for this self-inquiry.
What does success mean to you?
What is a successful career or relationship?
How are you living true to your values in your personal relationships and at work?
